First things first – you will not be required to demonstrate your hula hooping skills at any time. Unless you have a calling. For this workshop you will learn how to make a heart/love themed piece of textile art in an embroidery hoop frame. Although we will guide you with your initial design there will opportunity for you to use your new stitching skills to make your picture as individual as you.
Who – me?
Yes, you. This course is suitable for beginners although experienced stitchers are equally welcome.
Inherent with hand sewing comes an element of self-soothing and calm. This is a chance to take a morning and spend it in the peaceful and inspiring workshop area of Locally Produced For You.
Who the devil are we?
Taking you through this adventure in stitchery will be Geri Dyke and Gerry Rennie. Two Geraldines for the price of one. Both are lifelong addicts of all things sewing and both designer / maker business owners.
Can I just roll up on the day?
Places are limited on the course and it needs to be pre booked. On the day it’s just you we need! We will provide all the materials.
However, you might like think about who this art is for; yourself, a friend, a loved one, a new baby or a bride to be etc.
Free Tea, coffee, biscuits and tissues will be provided throughout the morning.

This course will run from 10.30 – 1 pm on Friday 24th March at Locally Produced for You, 31 Central Avenue, West Bridgford, NG2 5GQ (Entrance through The Health Store)
